Art for the Heart
I’m Molly Howell, M.S., LCAT, ATR-BC, a Licensed Creative Art Therapist with over 15 years of experience supporting children, adolescents, and adults through creativity and self-expression.
My work began in clinical and community settings, where I saw firsthand how art can help people express what feels hard to say, build self-awareness, and move toward healing and growth. That belief continues to shape everything I offer today.
In 2020, I founded POPACO as a clinical response to the pandemic, bringing mobile art therapy and emotional regulation tools directly to children in learning 'pods' across Nashville."
I provide individual art therapy sessions for children and adolescents, along with POPACO camps and school break pop-ups that encourage creativity, confidence, and connection in a playful, supportive environment.
I also offer creative workshops and wellness experiences for women, adult groups, retreats, and hospitality or wellness partners. These gatherings are designed to create space for reflection, rest, creativity, and meaningful connection.
At the heart of all of my work is a simple belief: creativity can help people feel more grounded, connected, and fully themselves.

What is Art Therapy?
Art therapy is a form of therapy that uses the creative process to help individuals explore their emotions, develop self-awareness, and heal from challenges. As an art therapist, I guide clients through creating art in a safe, non-judgmental space, allowing them to express feelings that might be difficult to put into words. The act of making art can help uncover deeper emotions, process trauma, and promote personal growth. Whether it's through drawing, painting, or other creative methods, art therapy empowers individuals to explore their inner world, gain insight, and build resilience, all while fostering a sense of connection and well-being.
